The Sun Doesn't Blind

In the eyes of any normal, sane, person Kale Jenna Heartford is comparable to the gum you might scrape off your shoe. Street scum, some might call her and her best friend Minnie. They were wanderers. The streets of New York City are where they call home, taking residence in an abandoned warehouse in one of the less desirable areas of the city. They have no friends or family, only each other.

Their lives are swarmed with addiction and prostitution just so they can get by, all the while thinking one day things will change for the better. Dreams of love, happiness, and wealth fill their heads every night only to be woken up by the harsh reality of their situation.

One day an accident tears them apart. Kale lands in the hands of a pop star while Minnie is presumably lost forever.

Kale makes it her mission to find her friend. But the longer she is gone, the deeper Kale spirals further into her addiction. And the only thing that can save her is the new found love she has found for the three brothers who have made her part of their family.

But how much time does it take for someone to lose their mind.
