Run from the Shadow

A short, one-shot that I originally wrote for "The Story that Goes on Forever" which was discontinued because of a lack of participation.
Sorry guys, it just didn't work.
At all.
Too bad too, I thought it would end up being really cool one day, seeing hundreds of authors all coming together to write a story, each inputting some of themselves into the equation.
Anyways, here is the one (and only) chapter from it that I wrote, so enjoy.
