Imaginary.

As children, almost every one of us had a imaginary friend. We played with it, talked to it, buckled it up when we went for rides in the car. Our imaginary friends were our best friends.

However, as the years went by, most of us lost our imaginary friends. They didn't leave us on a specific date but they slowly faded away until, one day, we found ourselves wondering when they'd left us. Over time, even that feeling disappeared until only our mothers remembered the days when we'd ask them to tuck in Scott or Mary or Fred beside us at bedtime.

Gerard Way never lost his imaginary friend. And he never will, as long as he keeps using his nose to snort the white powder and his mind to believe.
