Chapter 14 a hello to friends
I walked out into the hall, I walked along keeping to the shadows. I checked the rooms, peeking in to see if I could find anyone.
I heard Dexters voice drifting along the halls. I walked quickly to his room, but another voice stopped me dead in my tracks. It was Annie Wilkes. I saw a cart which I ducked behind immedatly. She walked out and walked past the cart, when she went by I quickly ran into Dexter's room.
I almost exploded with joy when I found that it was him.
"Calm down kid and help me out of here." Dexter said in his usual monotone voice.
He was restrained to the bed. I ran over and undid the restraints. He rubbed his wrists.
"Thanks kid, now you got any weapons?" He asked.
I handed him the trench knife and pulled out my revolver. We crept slowly into the hall. I knew we would have to find the rest of the team and whatever soldiers we could find if we were to stand a chance. I hoped we could find them, I hoped.
