After walking around a jumble of hallways for an eternity trying to find a way out of this thing. It was just a mess of doors and hallways. Until the floor opened up underneath us. We fell for a long time until we hit the floor.
"Sorry about that Isaiah, but follow the hallway up ahead and you will be out of there." Mr. Holmes crackled over the ear piece.
We did and eventually we came out into a control room where the rest of the team was assembled. We made our way out of the monster house. Joker ended up escaping but we left with our lives.
I was happy, we were going home.

I know I know it sucked. I had no desire to continue their adventures in the monster house. Any way the next chapter will be much better and the story will take off and become less bland.
