Flashback to the night before
“ I don’t know why you are getting so upset Tam. I mean I wasn’t flirting with the girl we were just talking.” Zacky said trying to fully understand why the girl he was in love with wasn’t talking to him.
” Besides it’s not like we’re dating.” Those are the words that stung in her heart and his ears. She stopped and looked at him her eyes were full of pain and tears. She gave him a hurtful smirk.
“ You’re right we’re not dating, so why do you even care if I talk to you or get upset when you “just” talk to girls.” She said throwing air quotes onto the word just, then started up the flight of stairs again to her brother’s apartment.
“ I didn’t mean it like that Tammy, I-“ Zacky started, nearly taking two steps at a time to catch her. She just looked at him.
“Save it Zack.” Tammy said fighting back the annoying tears, and losing.
Zacky stood there as he watched her walk up to the apartment him and Jimmy had been renting for the past three months or so.
“Fuck!” He yelled as he kicked the wall and headed up to the apartment.
