I stared in disbelief as Jesse tossed her purse over her shoulder, gave that sleek brunette hair a flip, and waltzed out of the hospital without another word.

She told me she was leaving,

and I didn't believe it.

I figured, "She has got to be joking."

After all, with Brogan still in a critical state, and both her father and her step-mother a complete wreck, she should want to stay.

But then again, Jesse had always been rather heartless.

She was selfish,

conceited,

manipulative,

rude...

and most of all, in the end, Jesse was a very pathetic, poor example of a sister.
