Hear Me

Aaron's leaving today.

I don't want him to go.

He says he'll keep in touch.

But the way he says it...

I know he probably won't.

I'll miss him.

When he's gone it'll just be me.

Me, myself, and I.

And the occasional chat with Stephen over the phone.

He says he's glad I'm getting better.

I'm glad too.

I can't wait to get out and start living.
