When One Thing Goes Wrong, a Good Thing Always Follows

Epilogue

(Jenny's POV)

"Now do you get it Jason?" I asked my son after I went through the question for the fifth time with him. For an answer all I got was giggles. At first I was confused, but then I felt a rough hand go over my eyes and then everything going black. It must've been Milan.

"Milan, let go!!!" I laughed as I attempted to pry his hands off of me. He just gripped tighter and said in a very high pitched voice,

"Oh no, not Milan. It's... it's dear old Granny Smith from across the street." That just made Jason laugh harder and me say,

"LIAR!!!" And then, I pulled away from him with all my strength and ran behind Jason.

"Jay-Jay, protect me from this evil man." I cowered behind the boy. He just laughed even harder and Milan ran over to me and picked me up.

"Evil man?" he shrieked. "EVIL MAN!?! What you talking about woman? I am the best guy on this earth!!! You even said so when you met me. Speaking of which, do you know what today is?" He asked as he swung me around and then put me down. I hugged him, leaned against his chest, and said,

"I might. Refresh my mind though." He pulled me into a tight hug and said into my ear,

"Today marks the day that you officially became mine forever and ever." I smiled against his chest and said,

"Really? Damn, I must've been drunk when I agreed to that." I laughed as well as I pulled away from him.

"MOMMY!!! You swore!!!" Jason yelled as Milan made a tsk-tsk noise at me.

"What did we agree on sweetheart? No swearing in front of the kids. Now, whether or not you were drunk or not, you are still mine and I think that we should do something special to celebrate TWENTY YEARS BABY!!!" he said as he sat himself on the kitchen counter.

"I got two things to say to that. One, get off the kitchen counter, you weigh more than you did twenty years ago. And two, what kind of celebration do you have in mind?" I wrapped my arms around him at that last part and I kissed him on the lips, making Jason run screaming out of the room. I laughed and kissed Milan more passionatly. This went on for about a minute or so, before Milan pulled away from me and said,

"No, not that kind of celebrating sweetie. I got something better... er, sorta. Just, stay with Gabi and Marissa while I take the boys and I will meet up with you later. GUYS!!! It's time to GO NOW!!!"

"What? Where are you going? Milan, what's going on?" I asked, completely curious.

"You'll see. Boys," he said as all four of our sons came into the room. "It's time to go. Jenna, I will see you later. ADIOS!!!!" And then he left with the boys all in tow. I laughed at how they all filed out like army guys and shouted after Milan,

"YOU'RE NOT SPANISH!!! YOU'RE SERBERIAN!!!!" They all just laughed. Shaking my head, I picked up Jason's unfinished homework and headed upstairs to where Gabi was doing whatever and Marissa was sleeping.

"Hey baby, would you care to enlighten me onto where the boys went or do you not know either?" I asked as I walked into Gabi's room. She looked up from her laptop and said,

"That's for me to know and you to find out. Now, would you please come with me into the bathroom. Dad has a surprise for you later and he told me to make sure that you are all dolled up. So, lets go." She said, shutting her laptop and getting off of the bed.

"Oh, so you do know where he is going and all that?" I inquired as I followed her into her bathroom.

"Just shut up, sit down, and stop worrying about it." she demanded as she pushed me into her own massage chair that she made Milan and I buy for her for her birthday this year. I just shook my head and allowed her to perform 'magic' to my 'aging' face.

1 1/2 hour later...

"All done." Gabi said as she clapped her hands together. Within the past hour and a half, I allowed Gabi to touch up my face, paint both my toe nails and finger nails, and fix my hair for me.

"Well, how did I do?" she asked timidly as I gaped at myself in her bathroom mirror.

"Honey, I don't think that I have ever looked so beautiful..." I muttered as I stared at my reflection. My hair was done up in a fancy ponytail, with curly ringlets falling all over the place. And my nails were this pretty pink with flowers painted on both of my ring fingers. My eyes had a pretty pink eye shadow on around them and my lips had a pale sparkly lip gloss on them.

"Really mom? Thank you soo much!!! Cuz, I was thinking that if writing doesn't work out for me I would become a beauty person." Gabi beamed. The light in her eyes just got brighter when I told her,

"Honey, I would give up all I have to keep you out of beauty school. My daughter will NOT be a beautician. Especially when she comes from somewhat a wealthy family." We both just looked at each other and laughed.

Finally, when we composed ourselves, she turned to me and said,

"Come on mom, Dad helped me pick out this dress that he wanted you to wear tonight. Lets go get you into it." She then led me into her built in closet that I swear, if I wasn't with her, I would've gotten lost. It was HUGE!!!

"Oh my God honey, you can't be serious!!! What does he have planned for tonight?" I gasped when I saw the dress that her and Milan chose. It was this pale pink floor length dress with ruffles at the bottom and it had a white sash a little bit below the chest part.

"Do you like it?" Gabi asked timidly.

"Do I like it? Honey, I love it. Now, help me get into this thing." I asked as I started to undress myself.

"Mom, you look absolutly gorgous." Gabi muttered when we finally got the dress on me. I looked at myself in the floor length mirror and gasped. I looked and felted like Cinderella. My little moment was ruined when Marissa started crying.

"Mom, could you go get her and bring her in here? We have to get her ready as well. And I myself has to get dressed so..." Gabi told me.

"Yeah sure. I'll be right back." I said as I left to get my youngest daughter.

(Milan's POV)

"Alright men, everybody looking ready and good?" I asked as I walked out from behind my part of the changing room on the beach that I had chosen to renew my vows with Jenny. All my sons were there and I had to check them over to make sure they looked alright and stuff because I wanted this night to go perfect.

"Yeah Dad, we all look awesome and everything is set. You think that Mom will like this?" Joey started and Nathan finished.

"Lets hope guys, lets hope. Hey, HORTON!!! ARE YOU HERE YET???" I yelled as I stepped outside the tent.

2 hours later...

The music had started up and just like last time, after all the bridesmaids and everybody wernt through, I was utterly stunned when I saw Jenny coming towards me down the isle. She was absolutly beautiful and even after twenty years, I still can't believe that she is mine...

Flashback...

Even though the veil covered her face, Milan Lucic still couldn't help but gape at how beautiful his bride was and when it came time for the vows, he was still speechless, his eyes not looking anywhere else but her simple white dress that had once been her mother's and her face, which, even though it was covered by the veil, you could still see her beautiful brown eyes.

"I do." He finally managed to stutter. She said the same and then he lifted the veil and gave her the most passionate kiss in the whole entire world. And the whole congregation clapped.

End of Flashback...

"Just like last time, lost for words." Jenny said through her tears when the time came to renew our vows. I gave her a small smile and said,

"Yeah..." And then, with one look at our beautiful kids and all the guests that I had secretly invited to come, I receited my vows.

"Jenny, these past twenty years have been amazing and everyday I wake up looking forward to a new day with you. I love you and I can't wait to spend another twenty years plus with you. You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me Jenna DeRosa, and no matter what, that will never change." I said. She smiled, tears flowing down her face, as she recieted her's,

"Milan, it was fate when you saved me at that bar, it was like a once and a lifetime thing and when it happened, I thought that I would never see you again. But yet, here we are on the most beautiful beach with the most beautiful kids, and we have already been married for twenty full happy years," She paused to wipe the tears that were now flowing freely down her cheeks.

"I love you and I too, can't wait to spend another wonderful twenty years with you." And then, she leaned in and kissed me. And I kissed back with all my might. And when we finally pulled away, we couldn't help but laugh at the eruption of clapping that envaded the small section of the beach that we were on. I pulled her into a hug and she whispered in my ear,

"Sometimes, when one thing goes wrong, a good thing always follows... and you were that good thing... no, make that great thing. I love you."

"I love you too baby." I muttered back. And then, our little moment was ruined by our kids piling together and joining our hug. We were all one big happy family and even through the ups and downs, nothing was ever gonna change that. Jenny says that I was her good thing, but I think that she was mine...
