I Must Be Dreaming

I couldn't sleep last night, my thoughts were racing with ideas for my story and wanting to kiss Kennedy. I don't know why but I really wanted to taste his lips. I stayed up and wrote a few chapters for my newest book. It was about 4am when I finally went to sleep.

"Remi, you going to get up sometime this year?" Jack whispered in my ear.

"No, I'm still tired. I didn't go to bed until 4am" I whispered back.

"It's about 8am, I'll let you go back to sleep" Jack said.

"Thanks" I muttered.

"Your Welcome, now scoot over. I'm hiding from Alex" he said. I beamed and moved over so Jack could lay next to me. He got comfy and I used him as a pillow before dozing back off.

[a few hours later]

"Jack, you can't molest Remi in her sleep that is just creepy man" Zack said shoving him.

"Me? She is the one sleeping on me. I just laid next to her, you got it all wrong dude" Jack defended.

I grinned and kept my face against Jack's chest. "Sure it is. Remi, I'm gonna tell Kennedy that you are cheating on him with Jack" Zack said.

I shot him a ugly finger gesture before lifting my head up to look at him. "You better not say a word" I threatened.

"Zack leave her alone, you remember what happened last time to poked The Remi? Raging Remi went on for 2 hours trying to beat us all to a pulp. Only safe one was Rian cause he left, rest of us is dumb" Jack Attack said smiling.

"I remember, I think I have scars from you Rem" Zack said. I didn't say anything as I rolled over and tried to sleep some more.

"Oh look at her, she is so cute" Zack said. Then his fat butt crawled in and Jack squeezed me close to him. Zack somehow got over me and we were all crammed into the small bunk.

"These bunks aren't made for 2 fatties and a girl" I proclaimed. I began to loose feeling in my legs because it was so crammed.

"Remi, you in here?" Alex called. I managed to squeeze and arm out and I moved it up and down. Or really it was my hand that was moving, not the arm.

I heard some footsteps and then I heard Alex's laugh. "Remi sandwich? I wasn't invited" Alex said.

"No baby, you aren't that special today" Jack said. I bet my paycheck that he was smiling like a fool.

"You are two timing me Jackie?" Alex asked sounding hurt.

"Yes" Zack yelled.

"Okay, before World War IV breaks out between you two lovers. Please let me out, I smell like smelly dudes and Tag cologne. Plus I think I have officially lost all feeling in the lower half of my body" I said.

"I'll save you Rem" Alex announced before pulling on the back of Jack's shirt. He really shouldn't have done that, we all ended up falling out of the bunk onto each other. Alex somehow ended up on bottom, Jack was under me and Zack bounced off me onto the floor. We all said "ouch" at the same time before laughing. One by one we all got up and dusted ourselves off.

"I call dibs on the shower" I yelled running into the bathroom. I was used to seeing either naked or half naked men. They were always either of them, they hardly ever saw me in anything less than a towel. I was the smart on that remembered to bring a towel 99.9% of the time. I rarely forgot the towel, not that they would ever bust a move on me. We were all too good of friends for that crap. Except for Jack and Alex, those two love birds were strange.

"Remi, I promise this isn't anything like the time with the ice in the pool. Just trust me" John Ohh said leading me to some place. I was blindfolded by a scarf and John Ohh was leading me. Last time he told me that, we both ended up being dumped into a pool filled with ice. We weren't wearing anything but our swimsuits..It was freaking cold. I think we both stayed blue for about an hour. That was Pat and Jared idea...don't ask why I didn't expect any different. I still blame it on lack of sleep, so does John Ohh.

"Last time you said that Pat and Jared somehow got us dumped into a pool full of freezing cold ice!" I said moving my hands to untie the scarf.

John Ohh smacked at my hands and fixed the scarf. "Well, this time is different. I promise, Pat and Jared are playing Halo or something with Alex and Jack" he said.

I stopped walking and John Ohh bumped into me causing me to stumble forward a bit. He grabbed me around the waist and steadied me. "You left my brother is has the mentality of a 13 year old and his best friend in the hands of two brainless people?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah, pretty much" he said pushing me forward to lead me.

"Are you crazy? What happened to the other smart one? Where are Garret, Rian and Zack?" I asked.

"They are doing some interview. You ,however, are going to wait one second. Don't move, I'm gonna open the door and you are gonna walk through it" John said. I trusted him(stupid on my part sometimes) and slowly stepped forward and held my hands out in front of me. I didn't want to hit anything.

"Okay she is here man, I am going to go and spend some time with Grace" John Ohh said before I heard a door close.

"Hello?" I asked a bit worried my hands were still out in front of me searching for anything solid.

They finally met something soft. I gripped it gently and figured out it was shirt, that someone was wearing. I felt hands cover mine and move them away from the shirt. The scarf was moved and I saw a smiling Kennedy. He looked so happy and I couldn't help but to smile back.

"Hi Rem" he said.

"Hi" I replied, it sounded more like a question though.

"I know, you are probably wondering why you were blindfolded and brought here. I wanted to give you a good date, and I actually did some research about you and found out that you like to bowl. So here we are, what do you think?" he asked standing in front of a lane with his arms spread out wide.

I felt my eyes begin to water and I couldn't blink away the tears. A few of them escaped. Kenny's smile faded some as he walked up to me. "What's wrong?" he asked wiping them away with his thumbs.

"No one has ever taken me bowling for a date. It is really sweet of you Kennedy" I said before more tears spilled. I was extremely happy, I liked bowling even though I was horrible at it. I still had a great time when I bowled with friends and family.

He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me. It felt so right to be there in his arms. I Must Be Dreaming I thought to myself. Any second I was going to wake up from this beautiful dream.

I got myself under control and wiped away the last few tears before looking up at him. "You ready to bowl?" he asked smiling.

"I'd love to" I grinned.

Kenny brought me a pair of bowling shoes and helped me put them on. I noticed he already had his shoes on. It took us a few moments but we finally got bowling balls that would work for us. We laughed and had a great time bowling. For two games I think we hit the record of gutter balls. But it was amazing, I don't think I'd laughed so hard in my life.

"Now I am going make a strike on this one. Watch me" I said getting ready to roll the bowl down the lane.

"Go Remi" Kenny cheered. We watched as the ball knocked down all the pins. It was my 3rd strike, I got the dancing turkey thing on the screen. I jumped up and down cheering.

Kennedy just watched as I jumped up and down; he just stood there smiling like an idiot. "Perv" I said after I caught on. I smacked him not to lightly on his chest.

"I'm sorry, but they were there and moving. I couldn't help it, my eyes were glued to them" he said sheepishly.

"I might forgive you" I said crossing my arms.

"Please forgive me" he said getting on his knees and begging.

"Okay, but it will cost you" I said.

"I will gladly pay it" he said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Kiss Me" I said/demanded.

[Kennedy's pov]

I couldn't believe my ears. The girl I fell in love with after 10 minutes of talking to her, [strike]asked[/strike] demanded me to kiss her. I wanted to jump up and down for effing joy. She was my everything, and she was amazing.

I stood up and put a finger under her chin lifting it up. Our lips met and it was heaven. She tasted sweet and sour like sour patch kids. I felt her hand travel up into my hair and grip it gently. I slid my hands down her back to her hips and brought her closer to me. We broke after after a few more moments and she was blushed a little. It was cute, I ran my thumb across it and she giggled.

"That was amazing" she said. Remi laughed quietly for a moment then kissed me again. Cheering erupted around us as we kissed. We both smiled as we broke apart and saw people clapping and cheering. Gabe and Ryland(cobra starship) appeared after the crowd went away and plopped down in the chairs.

"Fancy meeting you two here, how is the game going?" Gabe said smiling.

"Great, Gabe. It is going great, why did you want to crash the date?" Remi asked.

"Oh, this is a date? I wouldn't have crashed it if I'd known" he said like a child being caught stealing cookies.

"B.S. Gabe. You do stuff like this all the time" Remi said before smacking up side his head. I sat down and she sat next to me. I didn't do the whole stretch and yawn thing either. I just had my arm stretch out on the back of her chair.

"I missed the kiss didn't I?" Ryland asked grinning.

"Yes" Remi said to him.

"You two already kissed? Dang Remi, on a first date?" Gabe questioned.

"Can you two kiss again, I want this on twitter" Ryland said smiling with a camera.

"No, I don't want to kiss him and have you post it" Remi said.

"I'll kiss him, that will make up for Remi. I can put it on my wall and make William jealous" Gabe said before standing up.

"You wouldn't" Remi said.

"I would" Gabe shot at her. I just sat there and watched this all play out, it was so much like my band it was unreal.

"Now is your chance Rem, otherwise Gabe is gonna bring Kennedy over to our side. Then is will be gabenny or kenriel...or something really creepy" Ryland said. Both of those sounded horrible.

"Oh good gods" she said defeated. She turned towards me and got close to my face. "Sorry, please don't hate me" she whispered.

"I could never hate you Remi" I said before she kissed me passionately. I was a bit shocked normally women didn't make the first move, Remi wasn't afraid to kiss me. I loved that, it was really turning me on. I tried to think about something else but it was really hard. No pun intended.

The camera flashed and Remi pulled away. "There now Gabe you can't kiss Kenny cause that would be creepy" she said.

"Yes, but creepy is one of my names. I'll kiss you instead" he said before pulling her close and dipping her down close to the floor. I don't know if they kissed or not but I was sure Gabe was gonna have some funny caption to go with these photos.

Remi started laughing after a few moments and Gabe pulled her up. "Now V is gonna be mad at me. What am I gonna tell Jess? She is gonna make Brendon hump my leg or something" she said.

He whispered something in her ear and she started laughing again. "Gabe that is wrong" Remi commented.

Gabe smirked and talked to her for a few more minutes. "This happen often?" I asked Ryland.

"Yes, Gabe is a strange person. You just have to live with him and he will grow on you" he said.

"Okay, okay. I got it. Now I'm going to move in with your after I do this. Because they will hunt me down" she said.

He replied with something and Remi bit her lip to keep from laughing. "I got it, tomorrow right?" she asked.

He nodded.
