Seemingly pleasant conversation flowed between us in a hushed tone. Small talk, but talk nevertheless, was a common hobby of ours whenever we could savor enough time to run into one another. As the corners of my lips curled delightfully, I couldn't help but wonder if small talk was just another step, or whether it was the whole product.
