A Disappointment

It was exactly seven in the morning when dear Lily opened her eyes. She gathered her thoughts and then shortly got herself nice and ready.
Her time at home flew by, she realised when she was at school.
The day today was bright and sunny like a common September day, she loved those days and the warmth of the sun, taking it all in, sadly September would eventually disappear and the sunny weather would go. One thing was sure, she hated winter. Winter was when mother died, the night of the car crash by an awful drunken driver.
She remembered the night so well, her mother died suddenly. Everthing just seemed to change at that moment.
''Almost two years'' she whispered and it was then she had started to cry that very September morning.
