Draco's Mercy.

Practice

As I was leaving the class, I felt someone grab my elbow. I gripped the hand, spun around, and pinned the person to the wall, all in the blink of an eye.

"God. I was just trying to catch up to you." Weasly mumbled against the wall.

"Sorry, Ron. I didn't know it was you." I smiled at him sweetly.

"It's okay. Can you let me go?"

"Oh! Yeah." I let him go and he fixed his shirt, then rubbed his hand.

"Anyone ever tell you, you're bloody scary?" He picked up his bag and we started walking.

"Yup. Nothing new there. Plus, I was almost killed when I was a baby. So, I learned self-defense. Both muggle and wizard." I shrugged.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't know."

"It's fine. I'm here now, aren't I?" I smiled at him.

"Yes, yes you are."

"Then no big deal. So what did ya want?"

"I was wondering when we were going to meet to go over our parts." We stopped by the grand stairs.

"How about after dinner?" I hitched my bag up my shoulder.

"Sounds good. The four of us?" He nodded his head towards Damian and Hermionie walking together.

"Yup." I smiled. "Well, see ya." I turned and walked towards the two coming towards us. "Meeting in the library after dinner to go over everything." I said to them, then walked to the common room.

I walked in and put my stuff up in Draco's room. I walked down to where we usually sit. I sat in Draco's lap and kissed his lips.

"Hey babe. How was class?" He wrapped his arms around me and I smiled.

"It was good. Same ol' same ol'."

"Are you going to tell them?" Damian asked.

"No, I want it to be a surprise." I shrugged.

"Tell us what? What's a surprise?" Draco turned my head to look at him.

"I can't tell you. Then it wouldn't be a surprise." I smiled sweetly at him.

"Please?" He gave me puppy dog eyes.

"No."

Crabbe and Goyle gave me puppy dog eyes when I looked at them.

"No."

"Can I tell them?" Damian asked.

"No! I don't want them knowing yet." I crossed my arms over my chest.

They all gave me puppy dog eyes. I raised an eyebrow and pursed my lips.

"That won't and doesn't work on me."

They did it for a few more seconds, then they gave up. I smiled in victory and we all went down to dinner.

After dinner. Draco kissed me, then left for his rounds, Crabbe and Goyle went to their rooms for the night, and me and Damian went to the library.

Ron and Hermionie were already there. I sat next to Hermionie on one side of the table and Ron and Damian sat on the other side. We took out our scripts and looked over them. We said a few lines then turned to a song that me and Damian had to sing.

"So....The Mirror?" I asked, making sure.

"Yup." Ron said.

I stood and Damian did the same. I closed my script and looked at him.

He started.

"Insolent boy.
This slave of fashion.
basking in your glory.

Ignorant fool.
this brave young suitor.
Sharing in my triumph."

I looked in his eyes.

"Angel I hear you.
Speak-I listen...
stay by my side
guide me.

Angel, my soul was weak-
forgive me...
enter at last
master."

He dropped the script and walked around the table to stand by its side.

"Flattering child, you shall know me.
see why in shadow I hide.

look at your face in the mirror
i am there inside."

I slowly, very slowly walked towards him.

"Angel of music
guide and guardian
grant to me you
glory

angel of music
hide no longer
come to me strange
angel..."

I only needed a slight step more and I would be pressed against him.

He slowly dropped his music on the table, and reached towards me.

"I am your angel of music
come to me angel of music."

"Who is that voice?! Who's in there?!" I heard Ron say, then a banging on the table. It pulled me out of the song and stepped back.

"I am your angel of music." Damian sang, looking at me with lust.

"Christine. Christine!!" I heard a muffle out of Ron.

"Come to me Angel of music....." Damian sang, ending the song.

"That was amazing!!!" I heard Hermionie say.

"Yeah it was." Ron agreed. "Now, your turn Hermionie. You and Mercy sing a little from Angel of music."

We all got ready and Damian sang softly.

"Bravi, Bravi, bravissimi."

Hermionie sang queitly.

"Christine, christine."

Damian said it once, so quietly, you have to be listening to hear it.

"Christine."

Hermionie sang out now.

"Where in the world have you been hiding.
Really you were perfect.
I only wish I knew your secret
Who is your great tutor."

We turned to each other and I started speaking.

"Meg...
when your mother brought me here to live...
whenever id come down here alone...
to light a candle for my father...
a voice...from above...
and in my dreams...
he was always there...
you see...when my father lay dying...
he told me I will be protexted by an angel...
an angle of music..."

Hermionie furrowed her eyebrows.

"Christine, do you believe?...
do you think the spirit of your father is coaching you?...."

"Who else, Meg?" I shook my head a little and looked at the table.
I started singing quietly.

"Father once spoke of an angel
i use to dream he'd appear
now as i sing, i can sense him
and i know he's here." I stood slowly, and Hermionie copyed me, a beat or two later.

"here in this room he calls me softly
somewhere inside hiding
somehow i know hes always with me
he, the unseen genius"

"Okay, that's good for now." I said. I looked at them. "See y'all in class?" I nodded to them and walked out.

"Wait." I heard Damian call. I stopped and turned to wait for him, smiling a little.

He ran to me and smiled down at me.

"You're an amazing singer." He said.

"Thank you." I tunred and started walking again.

When we were about a corridore away from the common room, Damian grabbed my elbow and pulled me back.

"Wait...I have to tell you something." He bite his lip, looking nervous.
