Befriending Suicide

Impulsiveness may literally lead to death. Sometimes impulsiveness is the best solution. But who said impulsiveness ever caused happiness?

Leda (Letitia) Summit. Don‘t have a middle name. I’m eighteen going on nineteen. I live in an apartment, in the north-east of North Carolina, along with my best friend, Sethie. [Yes, I just referred to Seth as Sethie.] We’ve been friends through thick and thin, since we were both seven. [He’s older than me, damn it. Just by a few months.]
No, I am not anyway going to be in a relationship with him soon. He said he’s gay, no longer bisexual, now, and plus he’s taken. Has been for almost two years now. He’s nineteen. His full name: Harrison Seth Martin. I love writing short stories, that is basically why I bought this journal in the first place.
This is not a diary. I’m only going to call this my journal. I’d never have a diary. Ever. Just.. No. Ew.
It’s boring here. I’m barely in a good mood nowadays. Right now, Mr. Journal, I am not in a good mood. As soon as Seth comes home, I promise you, he’ll try his best to cheer me up. Gah.

The very first part, where it's italicized, is Leda's short story in her journal. I hope that doesn't confuse anyone.
