Lust for Order

Grawpy

“You did everything you could. No one could win against that pink prune.” Ron spoke, my nickname for her was starting to stick,
“Even Dumbledore didn’t see this coming.” Hermione spoke, “Harry, if it’s anyone’s fault, it’s ours.” Hermione spoke,
“We did talk you into it.” I leaned back on the banister,
“Yeah, but I agreed. And you got it worse then the rest of us.” Harry looked at me,
“I’m used to it.” I shrugged,
“I tried so hard to help, and all it’s done is make things worse. Anyway, that doesn’t matter anymore. Because I don’t want to play anymore. All it does is make you care too much. And the more you care, the more you have to lose. So maybe it’s just better to…” Harry stopped,
“To what?” Hermione asked,
“To go it alone.” Harry spoke, I taken a deep breathe and glared at Harry.

“Psst!”

“Hagrid.” Harry spoke as we looked around and saw Hagrid.

* * *

Walking through the forbidden forest we stuck close to Hagrid.

“Any idea where he’s taking us?” Ron asked,
“Hagrid, why can’t you just tell us?” Harry asked.

We stopped seeing loads of centaurs run past us, I hid behind Harry. I didn’t like centaurs one bit.

“I’ve never seen the centaurs so riled. And they’re dangerous at the best of times. The Ministry restricts their territory much more they’ll have a full uprising on their hands.” Hagrid explained,
“Hagrid, what’s going on?” Hermione asked,
“I’m sorry to be so mysterious, you four. I wouldn’t be bothering you at all with it, but with Dumbledore gone I’ll likely be getting the sack any day now. And I just couldn’t leave without telling someone about him.” Hagrid spoke.

We saw someone stand tall. A giant!

“Grawpy. Down here, you great buffoon.” Hagrid spoke, the giant turned around and tried to grab something right above us as we quickly ducked down. “Grawpy. Brought you some company.” Hagrid spoke, the giant came walking towards us as we stepped backwards.

I was still behind Harry as I held his shoulders. Grawpy was luckily tied back by a strong rope.

“I couldn’t just leave him, because-- Because he’s my brother.” Hagrid spoke,
“Blimey.” Ron muttered,
“Well, half brother, really.” Hagrid spoke, “He’s completely harmless, just like I said. Little high-spirited, is all.” Hagrid spoke.

Grawpy suddenly picked up Hermione.

“Grawpy, that is not polite.” Hagrid called,
“Hagrid, do something.” Ron spoke,
“We talked about this. You do not grab, do you? That’s your new friend, Hermione. Grawpy.” Hagrid explained as Ron grabbed a stick and hit Grawpy’s leg. Ron got kicked back as I helped him to stand once more.

“Grawp. Put me down. Now.” Hermione pointed at him, Grawpy put her down slowly and then went looking through some stuff.

“You all right?” Ron asked,
“Fine. Just needs a firm hand, is all.” Hermione spoke,
“I think you’ve got an admirer.” Harry spoke,
“You just stay away from her, all right?” Ron spoke, slight change of pitch in his voice.

Grawpy found the front of a bicycle and pushed the bell to ring. He then gave it to Hermione who did the same.

“He gets his own food and all. It’s company he’ll be needing when I’m gone. You will look after him, won’t you? I’m the only family he’s got.” Hagrid spoke.
