Lust for Order

Time To Drink

“That foul, evil, old gargoyle.” Hermione spoke as I walked into the common room, I waved at the others,
“Mei.” Harry smiled at me,
“Hey. Don’t stop ranting on my accord Hermione, keep going.” I smirked as she huffed as I sat next to Harry,
“We’re not learning how to defend ourselves. We’re not learning how to pass our OWLs. She’s taking over the entire school.” Hermione snapped as I turned up the radio.

Security has been and will remain the Ministry’s top priority. Furthermore, we have convincing evidence that these disappearances are the work of notorious mass murderer Sirius Black.” the Minister spoke.

Harry.” A voice called from the fireplace. We looked around and saw Sirius’ face in the fire.

“Sirius.” Harry spoke and ran around. “What are you doing here?” Harry asked,
“Answering your letter. You said you were worried about Umbridge. What’s she doing? Training you to kill half-breeds?” Sirius asked,
“She’s not letting us use magic at all.” Harry spoke,
“Well, I’m not surprised. The latest intelligence is that Fudge doesn’t want you trained in combat.” Sirius explained,
“Combat? What does he think, we’re forming some sort of wizard army?” Ron asked,
“That’s exactly what he thinks. That Dumbledore is assembling his own forces to take on the Ministry. He’s becoming more paranoid by the minute. The others wouldn’t want me telling you this, Harry but things aren’t going at all well with the Order. Fudge is blocking the truth at every turn and these disappearances are just how it started before. Voldemort is on the move.” Sirius explained,
“Well, what can we do?” Harry asked, as we heard a noise upstairs,
“Someone’s coming. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. But for now, at least, it looks like you’re on your own.” Sirius finished and the fire died down.

It started to rain heavily outside as it thundered.

“He really is out there, isn’t he? We’ve got to be able to defend ourselves. And if Umbridge refuses to teach us how, we need someone who will.” Hermione looked back at Harry as the Thunder roared.

Winter came as we were walking to a small pub.

“This is mad. Who’d wanna be taught by me? I’m a nutter, remember?” Harry asked,
“Look on the bright side: you can’t be any worse than old toad face.” Ron spoke,
“Thanks, Ron.” Harry nodded as we walked down the path,
“I’m here for you, mate.” Ron replied.

“Who’s supposed to be meeting us, then?” Harry asked,
“Just a couple of people.” Hermione spoke as we opened the door,
“Lovely spot.” Ron spoke,
“Thought it would be safer off the beaten track.” Hermione replied.

People walked in the pub while I stood outside keeping watch for anybody who could ruin the plan.

I heard every word of it.

Some people just wanted to hear about how Cedric died, but Harry made them shut up and come to their senses.

I smirked and hugged myself I could feel the cold.

I needed to feed soon… and not the hot dinner type of feeding.

The hunt for animals.

“Right. First we need to find a place to practice where Umbridge won’t find out.” Harry spoke; I was walking at the back of the pack listening in on the convocation,
“The Shrieking Shack.” Ginny suggested,
“It’s too small.” Harry spoke,
“Forbidden Forest?” Hermione asked,
“Not bloody likely.” Ron protested,
“Harry, what happens if Umbridge does find out?” Ginny asked,
“Who cares? I mean, it’s sort of exciting, isn’t it, breaking the rules?” Hermione grinned,
“Who are you and what have you done with Hermione?” Ron asked.

“Anyway, at least we know one positive thing that came from today.” Hermione spoke,
“What’s that?” Harry asked,
“Cho couldn’t take her eyes off you, could she?” Hermione asked.

I stopped in my tracks as everybody else continued on.

I forgot Harry had a thing for Cho… and now Cho was showing signs of liking Harry.

I looked at the floor, the other’s hadn’t even noticed I was gone as they reached the end of the bridge.

I stood alone. Feeling a small pain I hadn’t felt before.

“Time to drink.”
