Dinner Party
I was reading my book on the armchair in front of the fire as Harry walked over to me,
“Hi, Harry.” I spoke as he sat down,
“Hey, Mei. Do you want to get lunch with Ron and me tomorrow?” Harry asked I went to reply but I was cut in,
“Nope, she’s probably going to go with Jamie.” Hermione spoke and smirked, I rolled my eyes and pushed her gently,
“Nothing is going on between us.” I spoke,
“Sure.” Hermione didn’t sound convinced.
“Who?” Harry asked, once again, Hermione beat me to the question,
“Jamie Bulthor, a seventh year from Ravenclaw.” Hermione spoke, I looked at her,
“You’re going out with a guy?” Harry asked,
“Yes, she is.” Hermione replied, Harry bowed his head down and clapped his hands together,
“Ok, well… I’ll just, go.” Harry spoke and walked towards Ron who was at the table. I sighed and looked back at my book.
“Why did you do that?” I asked Hermione,
“Because you and Jamie are technically dating.” Hermione spoke,
“Yea, but we haven’t kissed or done anything like a boyfriend and girlfriend would do.” I explained.
I was walking by myself down the corridor towards the Great Hall.
“Mei!” I heard Harry call, I looked back at Harry with a smile, “We’re about to get lunch, want to join us?” Harry asked with a smile.
“Mei!” I heard another voice call, I looked back and waved at Jamie,
“Sorry… I…” I started,
“No… no, I understand.” Harry spoke, I smiled and walked back towards Jamie.
“Hey.” I smiled as Jamie hugged me, he then pulled back and kissed me passionately.
My first kiss.
My face was probably one of shock at first but my eyes slowly closed as I held Jamie’s shoulders.
I pulled back and looked at Jamie in shocked,
“Did I just steal your first kiss?” Jamie asked, I nodded slowly as he smiled, “Good.” Jamie spoke, I blushed a little as Jamie hugged me again, “Let’s go get some food.” He spoke, I nodded as he took my handed and we walked away together.
I was walking to the dinner with Ginny as we were late,
“I’ll say I had a hair emergency, ok.” I smiled and linked arms with Ginny who I recently stopped crying because of another fight with Dean,
“Thank you, Mei.” Ginny smiled I grinned,
“What are friends for?” I spoke as I opened the door and let Ginny in first.
“Ah. Miss. Weasley. Come in, come in, and Miss. Skylar too.” Slughorn spoke,
“Yeah, sorry about that, we had some hair emergencies.” I pointed at my very neat bun as I walked with Ginny to her seat and helped her sit down. As I moved around to sit on my chair Harry stood up abruptly, I looked at him shocked as I slowly sat down,
“No matter. You’re just in time for dessert, that is, if Belby’s left you any.” Slughorn smiled, I laughed along with his joke as I patted Ginny’s hand under the table to comfort her.
I saw Harry fidget in his chair as he kept looking me every now and again. I smiled as he glanced at me once and he quickly looked away, I couldn’t help but smile with a faint blush.
“Hi, Harry.” I spoke as he sat down,
