Lust for Death

Bellatrix Lestrange...?

I stood not far from Shell Cottage, looking over the house, Harry walked outside by himself moments later.

I taken a deep breath and walked down to meet him, Harry saw me approach and stood still until I reached him. We just looked at each other for a second until I inhaled,
“I’m sorry for running off like that.” I spoke, “Just… had an issue with my temper…” I spoke, Harry smiled and then taken my hand and kissed my forehead,
“Your eyes are back to normal also,” Harry spoke I blinked in confusion, “They are golden again.” Harry explained,
“Oh…” I muttered as I smiled at him sweetly, “I love you.” I spoke; Harry smiled at me like I had just given him the best news in the entire world,
“I love you too.” Harry spoke, I hugged Harry just as the front door opened.

We saw Bellatrix Lestrange striding across the lawn towards us, accompanied by Griphook and Ron. I guessed it was Hermione as I saw her pack away the Polyjuice drink in her bag and hidden it.

“She tasted disgusting, worse than Gurdyroots! Ok, Ron, come here so I can do you…” Hermione explained as Ron looked at her,
“Right, but remember, I don’t like the beard too long—” Ron spoke,
“Oh, for heaven’s sake, this isn’t about looking handsome—” Hermione snapped as she stood in front of Ron,
“It’s not that, it gets in the way! But I would like my nose a bit shorter, try and do that.” Ron explained, Hermione just rolled her eyes as she started to work on Ron’s face.

If I remember the plan, I was going to hide with Harry and Griphook under the Invisibility Cloak as we made our way into Gringotts. I stood next to Harry as Griphook looked up at him,
“I should climb up now, Harry Potter, I think?” Griphook spoke, Harry bent down and Griphook clambered on to his back, Hermione pulled the Invisibility Cloak out of her bag as she handed it to me, I pulled it over the three of us as Hermione checked us over,
“Perfect. I can’t see a thing.” Hermione double-checked and nodded, “Let’s go.”

She nodded; we all disappeared to the Leaky Cauldron, walking in we saw a man standing behind the counter.
“Madam Lestrange,” murmured the man as Hermione passed he bowed his head down as if to avoid her,
“Good morning,” Hermione spoke, I knew that was a bad move right off the bat.

“Too polite,” I snapped as we appeared in front of a brick wall,
“You need to treat people like they’re scum!” Harry added,
“Ok, Ok!” Hermione realised her mistake and carried on.

I watched her tap the bricks as they all began to roll back to form Diagon Alley.
“I’ve never taken this route before.” I whispered to Harry, he nodded as we continued on through the destroyed street.

It was early yet, shops were yet to open, if there were any shops in business. Most of them had been boarded up and closed down. I held onto Harry as we continued forward, a few of the beggars glimpsed Hermione, they vanished at the sight of her, hiding their faces and cowering in the cracks.

One of the beggars ran up to Hermione,
“My children!” he cried in horror, his soul was broken, “Where are my children? What has he done with them? You know, you know!” the man cried, Hermione stopped,
“I-I really–” Hermione was taken back.

Suddenly the man lunged at her, I wanted to help Hermione but the man was struck down by a red flash, Harry held onto me and kept me quiet as we looked around at a man who we had not seen before.
“Why, Madam Lestrange!”
