When Floyd was sleeping, I looked out the window and wondered how everyone at home was doing. I hoped they'd be happy to see me. Especially Sodapop.

I looked through my carry on bag and found a small velvet box in it. Inside held my engagement ring. I slipped it on and smiled at it.

Once I got back to Tulsa, I'd be Mrs. Sodapop.
