When Norah came in from work an envelope was sitting on the side counter with her name on it.

It was from Yale..

A few months back Norah had sent in her application and now she was holding the moment of truth in her hands.

She opened the envelope and unfolded the paper and begun to read.

Dear Ms Jones,
We have read over your application and we thank you for applying to our school. You have outstanding grades and we would be delighted to have you for our four year law program. Our orientation dates are enclosed below, we hope to have you apart of our school and our Yale family.

Your’s truly,
Professor James Truman ( Dean of Students)
Norah couldn’t believe it.

She couldn’t believe what just happened, She got into Yale. One of the best schools in the United States. She got in.

Norah stopped and sat down looking at the paper. What if Norah didn’t go to Yale? Would she be giving up the chance of a lifetime? Or giving up the only thing she ever wanted to do her whole life?

Ever since she started playing piano, her whole life turned around, all the stress and the pressure was lifted from her shoulders. Now, Norah felt like she didn’t have to be a lawyer to be successful in life, she could have any job and be a hard worker..

But how was she going to tell her parents?
