Demise.

Today was Norah’s first day of school at Sunnyvale High School. She doesn’t know why her parents decided to pick up and move right near the end of the school year, leaving all her friends behind. All Norah knew is that she was going to take her SAT test for the second time to bump her score, and get into Yale.

She’s always loved the way law worked.

She’s always been interested, even as a little girl. She would set up her stuffed animals and always have trials of robberies and murders, Norah was only nine at the time but her parents had let her watch lots of law and order episodes.

Since then, being a lawyer has been Norah’s dream career and she won’t let anything or anyone get in her way.

Norah doesn’t have a boyfriend and doesn’t want one anytime soon. Not until she’s settled in school and serious about what she wanted to do with her life. Her parents had always raised her to be serious about school and that’s just how it’s always been. But school isn’t the only thing Norah is serious about, her attitude is one to be very afraid of and is something one should avoid.

Norah doesn’t let people push her around or tell her what to do. She lives her life the way she wants to and she doesn’t let anyone put her down. Ever.

“Welcome to Sunnyvale Ms. Jones” The lady known as Mrs. Spatts had said to Norah handing her, her schedule.

Norah gave her a warm smile and headed out into the hallway reading her schedule.

She had marine biology first period and she was NOT looking forward to it. Norah hated everything that possibly has to do with Marine life and the ocean. She was stung by a jellyfish when she was seven and has a ugly scar along the side of her foot.

Suck it up Norah, You can do this. She told herself.
She walked into room 223 and sat down quickly before anyone noticed her.
