"Hurry up and get 'em cows over there"her Mama said.Stevie Ray nodded her head,and turned of the pipe from where she was filling a bucket for dinner tonight.Her button down red striped shirt was all wet from the water plopping back out the bucket.Stepping threw mudd with her leather boots Stevie Ray made her way on over to the bin that the cows were in.

Opening the fence Stevie Ray made her way inside,letting the fence door slam roughly behind her."Alright yall nasty beast its time to get in the farm"she said,one of the cows mooed lifting its head in the air.Stevie Ray grumbled and took of her straw hat.She walked
over to one of the cow's and spanked him on the butt.This one had really mooed and had ran over to fence door and created a line.Half the cows looked at it,with grass half way down thier thoart's.Stevie Ray put her hand's on her hips."Now,wich one of you grass eating monster's is next"she said to the cow's.It did'nt take long before all the cows had ran behind
the spaken cow.

Stevie Ray guided each of the cow's safely into the farm.Where they were rows of stall's keepimg horses.Also where the smell of pig poo labored.Stevie led the cow's into their private bin that her father had created.It was a big green room with a painted blue cieling,thats so the cows could think that they were outside.The floors were always covered in grass from sprutting grass carpet that was also made from her father.It was to help make sure that the cows never starved and tramaticly die.Plus the room was also for the cows to
be bought in from the rain.And the reason they were bein' bought in now,is because later on
it really was going to rain.

After making sure all the cows was put safely into their private bin,Stevie Ray went and check on the horses.Trying to make sure if none of them were sick nor dieing from heart worm.Because last year, while her mama was on a business trip with other farmer's,a disease had spread.It had came from a skinny dog,the disease was called Approxicima.
And every one were warned not to go around the dog that had this.Especially to keep your
pets away.

But one stormy night,apparently the dog had decided to stop at Stevie Ray's place for a lonely visit.Howling on her front porch.Stevie Ray did'nt know who the dog was and that it had
Approxima and she did'nt care.Because kindly Stevie Ray had picked up the poor dog in both
her caring arms and ran through the storm all the way to her barn and letting the puppy stay
there for a night.Giving it food and a warm blanket.But was letting the stranded dog stay in
her barn really a good idea?

Apparently not, beacause after the storm Stevie Ray went to check on her animal's and had got ready to let the cows out.But when she first put foot inside, she had smelled nasty and gross.It did'nt smell like horse poo or pig shit , It smelled like something dead.Frantically walking around the pig bin, Stevie Ray had stoped.She saw it and she covered her mouth.
"Oh God"She mumered through her hand.Before her was the sick puppy.But it was'nt living
anymore.Flies swarmed around it.Its bone's freshly clare.All its furr completely gone.And
Stevie Ray had just realized that it was the dog with the disease and had freaked out to know
that she had touched.

I'm gonna die,she thought.Then re-moving her hand with a gasp she looked at the horses that was next to the dead dog.And ran to each stall,slinging their door open.They were dead.

Each one of them swarming with flies and thier furr gone.Stevie Ray knew she was going to be next.That she was going to die just like the animal's did.But not quickly,but slowly.Yet when her mama had came back home from her trip and found all her horses dead and the
diseased dog,Stevie Ray had lied to her saying that dog wondered into the barn during the storm while she was sleeping and that when she woke up she found all the dead horses and the dead dog.

Her mama was furious and yelled at Stevie for not paying a close enough attention to her barn.And before you know it,her mama already had a disinfecting worker to get rid of all the horses and throw the boney dog into the river where the fish could have him.But Stevie Ray never told her mama about herself sick and the disease she coaught.She think's Stevie Ray is perfectly fine and that every trip that Stevie Ray make's to the bathroom is to wash her face.
When,to be honest,its only to throw up blood.

"Did you get 'em cows in that old barn yet?"Her mama questioned.Stevie Ray nodded and walked back to her half full bucket.Turning on the pipe,Stevie Ray went and sit on the bottom
step that was next to the pipe and watch her mama plant corn.Mama,she thought,how could
I tell you that I'm sick.She could already feel the tears forming in the back of her head.She was going to leave this world.Leave her mama,brother,papa,and her dad.And they don't even
know that she was sick.
