Cross the Line

Desme Ignisi is a hot-headed, stubborn thief from the discreet fire-wielding, treasure-hungry clan, Ira. From the moment of his birth, Anama (the clan's oracle) portrayed him as the key to discovering the location of their rival ice-wielding clan, Iedas', source of elemental power, however; she also foretold of a great impending mistake he would commit that would threaten the world's balance. In order to keep the latter half of the prophecy from impeding the first, they raised him as if he were just another tribe boy with the words of his future forbidden from his ears. Now at the age of 17, three days away from his official coming-of-age ceremony along with his engagement to the beautiful temptress, Princess Scia, all seems in place. Little does he know his last task as a young thief will change everything he's ever known.

Zealie Galacem has always been the odd one out in the cool and calculated ice-wielding clan, Iedas. While all of the other little boys wanted to learn how to hunt and become honor-worthy warriors, Zealie preferred to stay home and read a book. He could almost care less about serving his clan, but is always craving the affection of his father. His father, the clan's all powerful Sorcerer has taught him to be tough and cold. When his father passes the age of discharge, he is to become the new Sorcerer and marry the most beautiful woman in the entire clan, the King's niece Kayrie. Nothing in life so far is exciting enough for him, except for his last mission before fulfilling his so called "destiny". What he didn't expect is for his world to change completely.
