In Love With a Stripper

(Jynx POV)

I sat in the hospital’s waiting room with my head in my hands. I was trying to keep calm, but fears for Robbi kept creeping into my head. Zacky had his arm around me, but I knew I needed Gerard before I could really be comforted.

“Jynx are you okay?” Zacky asked for the tenth time.

“I’m f…”

“Jynx!” Gerard bellowed as he entered the waiting room. I rushed into his arms.

“Gerard there was blood everywhere. I was so scared and I didn’t know what to do… They said its too soon. They don’t know if the baby will make it.”

“You’re okay now,” he said smoothing his hand down my hair. “Robbie and the baby are going to be fine,” him saying it almost made me believe it. “I’m going to take you home.”

“No,” I said stepping away. “I’m staying here until we hear about the baby.”

“Suga there’s nothing we can do here, but stress and what did the doctor say about stress?”

“I’ll be more stressed if I’m not here. She wouldn’t have left me.”

“Do you really want to suffer through trying to sleep in one of those chairs?” I stood up taller and ignored the pain I already felt in my back.

“If I have to,” I said stubbornly. Just then Brian walked into the room looking tired. We all looked at him expectantly.

“She’s awake, but the doctor said she won’t stay that way for long. She’s asking for you,” I walked over and gave him a hug then rushed down the hall to Robbi’s room.

“Hey,” I said as I entered the room. She looked pale and tubes were all over the place.

“Brian told me you were here. You look like hell,” I smiled.

“We can’t all look as good as you.”

“I want you to go home and get some rest. I’m sure Gerard already tried to convince you to and you refused.”

“You’re right, but I’m not…”

“Hear me out. We both know the last time you went to the doctor’s they said you needed to keep you’re stress level down. I’m not going to let you end up like me. Go home or so help me I’ll call your mother.”

“Speaking of mother’s yours is going to be here tomorrow.”

“Hey aren’t you supposed to be nice to me cause I’m sick?”

“Just returning the favor,” I said with a wink.

“Jynx go home,” she said taking my hand. I leaned over and kissed her forehead.

“I’m coming back first thing in the morning.”

“I wouldn’t expect anything else.”

“See you in the morning,” I said, but she was already on the way back to sleep. “She’s asleep again,” I said to Brian. “She demanded that I go home, so you win.” this I said to Gerard.

“I’ll call if anything happens,” Brian said.

“You better, if you don’t I’ll…”

“Cut my dick off and feed it to the guys?” I smiled remembering the threat I’d used against him when he first asked Robbi out. “You really need to get some new material.”

“Why fix something that isn’t broken?” I asked. He gave a tired smile and I quickly wrapped my arms around him.

“You go get some rest okay,” I nodded as he kissed the top of my head. I walked back over to Gerard and he lead me out to the car. It didn’t take long for me to fall asleep with the rocking of the car and the quiet music playing. Gerard woke me while he was trying to carry me in the house. I smiled and told him I could walk, but he still wouldn’t let me down. I looked around and noticed that my mother’s rental car wasn’t in the driveway. That meant that she and my father were probably headed to the hospital to see Robbi. It made me feel a little less guilty about leaving her there alone.

“I’m going to take a shower,” I said when he finally let me stand on my own.

“Why don’t you wait till morning?” I just motioned to my clothes which was spotted with Robbi’s blood. “Ok, did you eat?”

“Yes, Daddy,” he smiled and pulled me close.

“I’ll fix you something anyway.”

“What am I going to do with you?” I said shaking my head.

“Marry me.”

“I guess,” I gave him a quick peck on the lips then turned and left him. I quickly started the hot water in the shower then undressed and stepped in letting the warmth rush over me. I was exhausted, but I couldn’t let Gerard know that cause he would have freaked. I decided to cut the shower short since I was swaying on my feet and turned off the shower. Then I stepped out wrapping my robe around myself. I heard a muffled thump outside the bathroom door. “Gerard?” I called, but no one answered. I opened the door to see him lying on the floor face down. I rushed to his side.

“Gerard?” I said trying to rouse him.

“God I missed you?” I froze. “Don’t worry he can’t hurt you now.”

“Jared?”
