With Words I Should've Said

All I Wanted Was You

"Why are there so many pictures of you on Google?" I asked Chris. We were in his car, driving aimlessly.
"You googled me, Natalie?" he smirked.
"No, Jay said you guys were in a band, and I forgot the name, so I just googled you. So yes, actually, I did google you."
"There for Tomorrow," he reminded me.
"Hey, that's five syllables. You can't expect me to remember that," I laughed.
"Well, my name is four."
"So is mine. It's just those pesky fives..." I smiled.
"So."
"So..."
"What's your middle name?" he asked.
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Because you're obviously not gonna engage in conversation, so I am!"
"That's not a good question," I complained.
"Well you think of a better question then," he pouted.
"What's your favorite color?"
"Wow, real original. Ummm, I would have to sayyy... green," he said. "Hey, why are you laughing?"
"Because you are such a chick!" I said between laughs.
"Because my favorite color is green?" he looked confused.
"Just... I guess the way you said that," I laughed.
"Well, what about you?"
"Hmm... navy," I decided.
"Interesting," he pondered.
"So if you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?"
"Meagan Fox."
"Well. That didn't take long."
"You?" he asked.
"Um... either David Spade or John Lennon."
"Wow. Saturday Night Live to The Beatles. Nice."
"OH! Wait, no! Peter. Griffin. Yes!" I laughed.
"He is such a screw up," Chris laughed.
"You're a screw up!"
"That hurts..."
"Good that's what I aimed for," I joked. He looked at me funny.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he said.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"I don't know. I haven't been paying attention for the past seven minutes," he laughed.
"Why don't we go to Jay's house?" I suggested.
"You know, I kinda live there too," he corrected.
"Well then, see if we can find your house," I challenged.

"Chris, you are a horrible driver."
"I'm sorry!" he closed his car's door. "I got lost!"
"Whatever," I sighed over- exasperatedly.
We got to his door and he unlocked it. We walked in.
"I'm home!" Chris shouted.
"You are really loud!" I complained.
"Hey! Chris and Natalie are home!" Christian yelled, falling down the stairs. "It's good, I'm okay! I'm good!"
"You are such a moron!" Jay yelled running down the stairs after him.
"And here is: The Idiot Crew," Chris motioned towards them.
"Hey!" Jay yelled in an insulted tone.
"Hey, I take that as a compliment," Christian shrugged.
"So how was your 'get together?" Jay chuckled and elbowed Christian.
"Ow, dude, that actually hurt!" Christian cradeled his side.
"Well, it was pretty good until some creeps strated creeping on us," I laughed.
"Yeah, they were pretty ugly, too," Chris played along.
"I don't know, there was this really really short one-"
"Okay, that's enough!" Jay interrupted me.
"Hey where is Mikay... Mike? Maky? How do you say his name?" I fumbled over my words.
"Maika," Chris corrected me. "And he's out with your blind friend... uh Brittany."
"Don't call her my blind friend! Call her Brittany!" I complained.
"So-rry," he laughed.
"We should watch a moooovieeeee!" Christian squealed.
"Good idea," Chris said. "Bye now."
"What? No! When there's a girl here you always pull out the X-Men!" Jay complained.
"Ooooh, really now?" I raised my eybrow at a blushing Chris.
"Well, you know, just sometimes..." he rubbed the back of his neck.
"...and he always shows off!" Jay hadn't stopped talking.
"Dude! Shut up now!" Chris yelled.
"Well, then. Impress me," I smiled.

I woke up to credits going down a screen and yawned. I remember Chris putting in the third X-Men and watching it for a few minutes before realizing how tired I was. I had a huge crick in my neck. I sat up and realized I'd been pretty much cuddling with Chris.
"I am so sorry!" I pushed myself off of him.
"It's okay. I think it's safe to say that I impressed," He kept looking straight, smiling smugly.
"Ugh, I'm so tired. I need to go home," I stuttered.
"Okay," he helped me up, pulling on my hand.
It was a quiet car ride home.
"Why are you so quiet?" I asked.
"I guess I'm just tired."
"Okay," I felt weird now. Awkward.
We rode down my driveway in silence. He stopped, but I remained in the car.
"I can tell you're thinking about something. Just talk to me."
He paused before looking at me. "Uh, nothing." He got out to open the door for me.
"Thanks," I smiled at him. We got to my door and I turned. "Seriously what's wron-?" he kissed me hard. I stumbled back a little and blushed a lot.
"I'm... sorry," he looked confused. He started to walk away. He reached his car and looked back at me. I was still staring at the ground, blushing, and feeling my lips. I heard his car drive away.
