Faylen and the Fairies

Faylen gives a way her soul to a band of fairies so they will stop the rain on her sister's wedding day:

“Rain rain go away,
come a again another day,
fairy magic make it seem,
like the rain had never been.”

I was eleven when I heard the incantation made by the fairies at the bottom of my garden. I'd begged just minutes before for them to stop the rain for my elder sister's wedding, in return I had forfeited my life to the fairies upon the midnight of my sixteenth year, I was to meet them at the fairy ring for the initiation and casting ritual upon when I'd get my wings.
