Into The Light

The boat was rocking back and forth in steady waves. Good looks and charm can only get you so far.

It can get you a cute captain with a okay sized boat.

But it won’t help the sea sickness.

I was leaning over the boat, about to empty what food was left in my stomach then and there.

The whole world was dizzy, the waves crashing against the small boat was not helping.

Not at all.

“Are you alright down there?” The captain shouting, his Irish accent shining through.

I went to open my mouth, but I could feel my last meal coming up.

I quickly closed the only whole the meal could leave from, preventing any sickness.

I didn’t want to seem sick when I see Aaron.

The rain was pelting my neck and back hard. I wouldn’t be surprised if it started hailing.

Lightning was flashing through clouded sky. I had to ignore it.

In a matter of a few days I’ll be with Aaron.

I’ll be with my love once again.

Even if it kills me first.
