‹ Prequel: Left In The Dark
Into The Light
Chapter 28
He flew away as Finny followed, ignoring my glares. I took off at a dead run, following they’re tracks.
I couldn’t loose him!
Not again.
Passing the trees and obsticales one by one, I was just keeping them in view. As soon as they seemed to leave, I sped up.
I was going the fast that I could. I could feel my legs nearly floating off the ground. I could make it back to them. I could! Well, I thought I could.
Just until I was tackled to the ground.
“What the hell!” I screamed, as I turned around to see Alex.
“Stop it!” He yelled.
“I need to find him. He’s not in the shape to fight and.” I began, squirming around.
“You’re not going to get him, Willow.” He said in an attempt to calm me.
“I have to! I love him!” I shouted, attempting to push him off frantically.
“Willow please!” He shouted.
“Alex, I have to-“ I began again.
“See him? Well he’s right there so don’t get your panties in a bunch!” He said pointing up to the sky.
I looked up to see Aaron flying away.
He looked so majestic.
He looked so happy.
He looked so peaceful.
Just then, he began descending.
No…not descending.
Falling.
Squinting, I noticed blood on his cheast.
“Aaron!” I screamed, as Alex gasped. I turned away, feeling my eyes heat up. I hid my face into Alex
This couldn’t be happening.
Aaron couldn’t have gotten shot.
I couldn’t loose him!
