Fighting out the blistering summer heat in her family’s local museum was all Claire had ever done. The moment she was old enough to work there, that was where she was stuck. The museum was almost always empty; accept for the few tourists that drove way out of their way to see the real Titanic blue diamond up close. Claire’s grandfathers obsession with the tale of the diamond had lead him on a journey that caused him to lose his wife and in the end find the diamond. Years and years after the excitement died down; however, few people cared to drive out all the way to the small town in Connecticut to see it. That was until a boy Claire’s age came to visit with his foster family. And with that boy is where the greatest story of Claire’s life lies.
