Zombies And Alchemy

"So where are we going again?" Ed asked

"*sigh* Fullmetal how many times do I have to repeat myself?" I replied

"Sorry just I've got a lot on my mind at the moment" he apologized

"It's alright just try to remember this time ok. We are going to Raccoon city to investigate why the officers we sent in haven't reported back to us" I explained

"oh"

It was a pretty long journey took most of the day as we did have to stop because we kept getting lost =( . Havoc probably got a headache like me from Roy and Ed's constant bickering. I really felt sorry for Alphonse as he had to sit in between the pair in the back where as Jean was driving and I was sat up front. It had already become dark and it was around midnight, the others in the back (except Alphonse) had fallen asleep. Of course Jean wasn't asleep and I felt too nervous to sleep. I had a feeling something was going to go wrong. Jean either felt my unease or saw the expression on my face.

" Jade are you alright?" he asked

"hmm oh yeah I'm fine thanks Jean" I replied

"You just look a bit nervous" he said

" You ever got that feeling that something going to go wrong?" I asked.

He nodded

"Well that's what I'm feeling now it just doesn't feel right you know" I said

"I'm sure nothings going to go wrong Jade. I think you should catch some sleep at least" he said

"Maybe but you'd be lonely then" I laughed

We carried on through the night and arrived at Raccoon city at around 4:00am, as we drove through the streets we realised something was really wrong. No one was around. Every street was deserted. We turned a corner only to nearly miss another car speeding towards us consequently we crashed into some railings.

" Is everyone ok?" Jean asked

"yeah" everyone said

"Are you ok?" I asked him

" Yeah I'll be fine" he replied " However I don't think the car is"

We all climbed out of the car, I looked for the car that had nearly hit us and ran over to it to see if they were alright. Tapping on the window to get the attention of the driver I pulled my jet black coat closer to me as it was freezing cold. The window slowly dropped down revealing a young man and a girl.

"Hi are you alright?" I asked

The man just stared at me in a rather strange way, he then looked at the girl and then turned his head to look at me.

" If you know what's good for you, you'd leave this city and never look back. If you carry on into the city you'll meet your doom." he said

"What the hell do you mean?" I asked

"Your worst nightmare. Now if you would move away I'm getting out of here" he said putting his foot on the accelerator, the car tyres barely missing my feet as he sped of down the road.

"What the hell?" I asked

Walking back towards the guys thinking over what the man had said ' if you carry on into the city you'll meet your doom' what did that mean? Is that why all the streets are deserted? We've got to find out what's going on in this city.

"What was that about? Why did they speed off like that?" Ed asked

" I don't know something about being doomed in this city I just don't know Edward" I replied

"Kind of spooky don't you think? No one around the streets and then people saying things about being doomed in this city. Kind of like a horror movie" Roy laughed

"Don't say that what you say may come true" I said

"Where'd you hear that?" he asked

"From my grandma" I replied

"And now you listen to her" he sighed

"Anyway I think we should find out what's happening here" Jean said

"Yes but Raccoon city is big I think we should split up" I said

"Yes Jade and I shall head up this street and turn left, Colonel Mustang, Edward and Alphonse I think you should head up the street and take the right." Jean stated

"I think that would work out fine with me Jean" I said

"Why do I have to team up with Mustang?" Ed yelled

"Brother…I don't think you should yell" Al whispered

"Well Ed, Roy has a lot more battle experience than you and you want to look after Al so I think it would do good if he was with you so that you don't get in to too much trouble" I explained

"But still…" he complained

Jean opened up the boot of the car taking out guns and first aid kits. He handed Roy 3 handguns and some back-up ammo and 4 first aid kits. Saving about 4 normal handguns, 2 of my handguns which can be used with alchemy and 4 first aid kits.

"If anything goes wrong or you find anything phone us or use these flares" I said handing Ed 4 flares.

"Right let's go" Roy said

And so we walked up to the top of the street. It was bitterly cold and I guess the weather was just going to get worse as the night went on.

It was eerily quiet no lights were on in any apartment we passed, the only light came from the street lights. As we came to the end of the street, the growing nervousness I felt back when we were driving to Raccoon city had tripled and it was helping the current situation we were in at the moment. No car, deserted town, all we need is the communication to fail and something dead or a murderer to come and we're in a horror movie like Roy said. '*sigh* this is all I need*'

" Right everyone let's meet back here as soon as possible if not remember flares and phone. Ok be careful" I said

" Be careful to Jade and Jean take care of her" Roy said

With that we went our separate ways. Jean and I taking the left and Roy Ed and Al taking the right. ' Please let whatever hell that man was talking about be a myth or his imagination just not real'

"Jade I promise everything will be alright" Jean reassured

We walked on in silence, until we reached what looked like a giant car crash. Cars completely smashed up beyond repair, piled on top of each other. Others seemed to now be permanent features of building, and some even mangled together. Buses where also part of the wreckage along with some motorbikes and a few unidentifiable vehicles as well.

"What in the world happened here?" I asked

"I have no idea" Jean answered

This was one mission that was turning into one hell of a nightmare.
