Anna has been a part of the NIS (Necromancers International Society) since she was twelve and was formally a misfit foster-care kid who could talk to people that no one else could see or hear, or so she thought. Once she discovered that there were others like her, people who could see and communicate with ghosts like she could, she began feeling normal, accepted. She had found a home.
But five years later, her home is threatened along with the lives of those she cares most about and Anna soon finds herself thrown into a crazy mess as dark forces begin to work towards a great, terrible power that would allow them to raise an army of Undead.
