Eight of us stood around the board, our eyes intently on each other. The tension was so strong that I could easily cut it with a knife. Jack’s fingers moved to the card and picked it up. Rian and him looked at it with nervous looks on their faces.
Jack then jumped up from his seat on the ground. “You fuckers, Rian and I won!”
With much difficulty, Jack got Rian to stand up and dance happily with him. In the process – Jack managed to kick over the entire board’s contents onto Alex’s lap. Danny pouted from his seat next to Alex while Aria’s team of her and Flyzik just shrugged it off.
“Eh, we’ll win next time, Andy,” Zack told me, patting my leg slightly.
A rush of chills went through me as he did so and I couldn’t help but smile. Zack began to help Alex put the pieces away as I watched his muscles flex with each move he made. God, he was so attractive, it should’ve been a sin. And on top of that he was so nice and sweet to me, I couldn’t help but like him – despite Aria’s warnings.
As the guys were picking up, Aria climbed over them all to come sit by me. She gave me a warning look before speaking. “You’re going to get yourself in trouble, Andy. You have to watch yourself.”
I rolled my eyes. “Aria, I can’t help it, lay off. It’s not like he likes me back or anything.”
“But still, he could easily get them back for you,” she looked me straight in the eye as she told me this.
“Shut up,” I responded as I got up to sit on the couch just above me. She scoffed before making her way to the couch opposite of me – without a single word or look in my direction.
“Let’s watch a movie,” Alex suggested. “Ladies choice.”
“As long as it isn’t some sappy-ass romantic movie, I’m down for anything,” I shrugged as I sat back in my seat. Zack soon took a place next to me and smiled.
“I don’t care either,” Aria spoke, obviously annoyed with what I had to say to her earlier. “You pick whatever you guys want.”
“Um, wow, okay then,” Alex said, looking back and forth between us. He gave me a worried glance before picking a random movie and putting it in the player. I laughed under my breath as Alex sat right in between Aria and Jack
The look on her face said it all, if she wasn’t annoyed before – she definitely was now. She crossed her arms and leaned away from Alex. I could tell Jack felt very uncomfortable because he crossed his legs and also tried to get as far away from Alex as possible. Alex just smiled along, watching the movie I was paying no attention to.
My eyes uncontrollably looked at Zack next. He was trying to watch the movie intently, but I could tell he was getting bored with it; even after only 15 minutes. He twiddled his thumbs and bounced his foot ever so slightly up and down.
About 30 minutes after that, I began to get sleepy and my eyes were starting to droop. Alex got up in that moment to tell us something. “I’m off to bed you guys, I’m too tired.”
We all said our round of goodnights as he sneaked into his bunk. Once he was out of sight; Aria and Jack basically jumped on each other. Aria immediately put her head in his lap and he began to play with her hair. Every few minutes a giggle would come out of her from something Jack said.
I sighed and put my head on Zack’s shoulder. He chuckled and began to rub circles on my
hand with his thumbs. I stared at him doing so for a few minutes before my eyes close from such tiredness. And that night; I fell asleep on his shoulder.

Wow, I suck major balls - I am so sorry you guys! I thought I posted this last Thursday; but apparently; I didn't :/. I actually have the next chapter written too; so I really did think I posted this. Sorry it's so late! We'll update NEXT Thursday with some drama - trust me; there's lots of it :).
