The boys brought Megan to a bar called Johnny's.

And when she asked, they laughed, denying that it did not in fact belong to the
youngest band member.

" Oh. Sorry" she blushed.
Johnny smirked, running a hand over his freshly cut Mohawk.
" Nah its good, so what's your poison?" he asked.

The whole band looked to her, waiting to asses her based on her drink choice.

Meg sighed, sitting down in the booth next to Brian and Matt.

" Absinthe. Make it a double, please and thank you. " I ordered him. Johnny
looked at me with an amused expression.

I glared at him and his eyes widened as he scurried off to the bar.

" I like this one!" Matt laughed, throwing an arm around my shoulder.

Brian and Jimmy laughed.
" Yeah...I haven't seen the short shit run that fast since Toronto. " Jim told
me.

I furrowed my eyebrows, confused. " Toronto?"

Brian cleared his throat, nervously," dude! I thought we agreed to never talk
about that again!"

I was reeaaaallllyyyy interested now. I gave Jimmy a hard look," I'll get it
from you later. "

He nodded, and then Johnny was back with a tray of drinks.

" Where's Zack?" i asked.
Brian snickered.

" He tucked tail and ran back home. His fiancé Gena wanted him back early"

The guys shared a laugh and I nodded, taking my drink off the tray and downing
it quickly.

I licked my lips, setting the empty glass down.

" Damn girl. " matt's eyes bugged out of his head.

I shrugged," I really needed that. "

Brian chuckled.

" So, Meg, how is it exactly you know my boy Jacky?"
Matt asked me.

I rubbed my forehead, but I knew the question would come up sooner or later.

" we were engaged. Were together for three years. " I stated lowly. Johnny
choked on his drink," But he was mean,He cheated, and was abusive..." I trailed
off. There was silence around the table,"We fought. A lot. But the sex was
good," I smirked,then frowned," but Jack is and will always be a burn out
druggie. And soon I realized that there was nothing keeping me there.I didn't
love him. He didn't love me. I was only with him because i was afraid of being
alone.

No one spoke.
" needless to say, the wedding was canceled"
Jimmy whistled. " damn"

I nodded, stealing a random shot off the table, throwing it back.
" I know " I muttered.

" What about now? Are you with anyone?" Matt asked lowly

I scoffed, grabbing one of Brian's shots," No. Relationships never seem to work
for me. So I've decided to simply not care"

And the subject was dropped.
