The Epitome of an Enigma

In the basement of the Malfoy Manor, Ami Carson waits patiently for her chance to escape, to help the Order of the Phoenix fight against Voldemort. Her confinement is different from that of Ollivander the wandmaker and the goblin who share the fate, for she is taken out for questioning and torture often. The use that their captors found for the others had dissipated. They were left there to rot, or until they were needed once more.

This type of incarceration wasn’t enough to kill the fighting spirit of a Gryffindor, but this time it could cost Ami her life.
