Chapter o4
At home, things were pretty quiet, Nani was playing, me and Finn were watching a movie, my phone rang during the movie, it was Carol.
“Hello?” I said into my phone,
“Hey Baby girl, how are you?” Carol said,
“I’m fine you?” I asked,
“Good, I wanna see my grandbaby” she said with a laugh, I smiled
“do you want her for the weekend?” I asked, Carol loved having Nani over.
“of course! her uncle Kurt misses her” she said, I heard Kurt trying to take the phone,
“Hey hun!” Kurt said,
“hey love! how are you?” I asked,
“I’m good, do I get to spoil my niece for the weekend?” he asked me,
“Yeap, we’ll bring her over tomorrow morning,” I said,
“Okays! see you then!” he said and hung up, I laughed,
“Carol and Kurt want Nani for the weekend,” I told Finn he nodded,
“a weekend for just mommy and daddy” he said and kissed me,
“mmm sleep” I said with a laugh, Nani came in, I picked her up,
“you’re going to see grandma and uncle Kurt tomorrow” I told her, she smiled, and clapped. she leaned her head on my chest, I could tell her was getting tired, I took her into her room and put her in her pajamas and put her to bed, I sung a lullaby and she fell asleep quickly. I went into the movie room and cuddled with my fiancée while watching a movie nd falling asleep in his arms.
The morning came all too fast, Finn was up and ready first, he even got Nani’s bag packed and her ready to go, I got up and saw them playing in her room, I smiled and yawned, I brushed my teeth and put on a sundress with a bikini under it, as well as flip-flops.
“Ready?” Finn asked, holding Nani and her bag, looking like a daddy. I nodded and got up from the couch, we went down to the truck and went down to Fin’s mom’s house. Kurt was waiting outside, he ran down and hugged me big,
“I miss you!” he said to me,
“I miss you too!” I said and got Nani out of the truck, she reached for Kurt, I hugged and kissed her before handing her over. Carol came out and said hello to me and Finn and we said goodbye to Nani, Kurt and Carol. We got in the truck and drove to my house, which was home.
We have a weekend alone. I was very excited, and I know Finn was too. I heard my phone going of telling me I have a text, it was from San,
Party Tonight @ Puck’s 7 pm -whenever you leave. you in?
I told Finn and he nodded, thinking it was a good idea.

I smiled and looked over at Finn and he smiled, and held my hand as he drove down my street to my house. one we got back San was on my porch grinning. she hugged us, it had been a while since we all hang out. without Nani anyway. She kissed us both and smiled,
“We’re gonna party our asses off!” she said and danced around my yard. I laughed and grabbed her, walking with her and Finn inside of the house.
“Hello?” I said into my phone,
“Hey Baby girl, how are you?” Carol said,
“I’m fine you?” I asked,
“Good, I wanna see my grandbaby” she said with a laugh, I smiled
“do you want her for the weekend?” I asked, Carol loved having Nani over.
