Anna and Alex's Confession
Anna’s POV
“Hey hey hey!” shouted Em as she walked through the door.
“Hey Em!” shouts everyone. She laughs and waves to them all. Today we were playing badminton, and are I say it, I was pretty good at it. The garden was huge so we played it there. It was fun and tired everyone out so we went and watched a film in the living room. I got up to make dinner and Em followed me.
“So do you have anything to tell me?” she asks smiling. Should I tell her about Alex?
“Alex kissed me” I said blushing and hiding my face
“Oh my God! I totally knew you too would get together!” she squealed. I hushed her, but still had a smile on her face.
“Do you like him?” she asks getting closer to me
“I think I do. I mean he makes me feel amazing and I get butterflies. He’s so sweet and kind to me and he has the most beautiful pair of eyes I’ve ever seen and I can’t help but fall deep into them” I say
“I don't understand why he would like me though” I say sitting down with a frown on my face
“Why?” asks Em
“Well, for starts I'm not as pretty as his ex girlfriends and I have to look after all these kids in my spare time, I doubt he’d want to hang round here”
“That’s silly. All Alex’s ex’s are fake. You are the most real girl he’s ever looked at! And he spends so much time round here because he never experienced a family like this one. I think he likes to see what it’s like, and it’s an excuse to spend time with you” She gave a squeal once again and smiled to herself, she was about to text someone when I snatched the phone away
“You can’t tell him Em!” I said, feeling my eyes grow wide
“I won’t Anna” she hooked her pinky finger around my own and we shook, and then laughed.
“You are coming to help me on Thursday right?”I asked
“Totally, what does Evvie want?” she asked excitedly
“You don't have to get her anything Em” I say. She doesn’t need to get Evelyn something; she’s done so much for us already.
“I want to” She says smiling. I smile back and give her a hug.
Jacks POV
Alex should be here in about 10 minutes. I sit down to watch TV when my doorbell rang
“Jack” shouts Alex through my house as he walks towards me.
“In here” I shout back
“Hey man” he says plopping down next to me. We play games on my games console and I take the opportunity to ask Alex questions
“So, how’s having Anna as your girlfriend?” I see his face twitch into a smile before controlling it
“It’s great”
“Huh” I say simply then asking
“Heard you kissed her yesterday” He whips his head to look at me meaning his character dies on the screen. His eyes wide with questions. I feel a smirk on my face and my eyebrows rise as I continue to look at him. He’s trying to say something but resembling a goldfish. I sigh and say
“Do you like her?” his cheeks turn a light pink and he looks down.
“I do” he says quietly
“How much?”
“A lot” my phone rings and its Em. I put her on speaker phone and ask
“Hello?” I ask, but hush when I here talking
“So do you have anything to tell me?” asks Em. Way to make it not obvious Emily.
“Alex kissed me”
“Oh my God! I totally knew you too would get together!” Em squealed. I hear Anna start hushing hr for being too loud.
“Do you like him?” Em asks. I hold my breath waiting for an answer looking at Alex.
“I think I do. I mean he makes me feel amazing and I get butterflies. He’s so sweet and kind to me and he has the most beautiful pair of eyes I’ve ever seen and I can’t help but fall deep into them” she says and I see Alex give a small smile
“I don't understand why he would like me though”
“Why?” asks Em
“Well, for starts I'm not as pretty as his ex girlfriends and I have to look after all these kids in my spare time, I doubt he’d want to hang round here” Alex scoffs and a frown takes to his face.
“That’s silly. All Alex’s ex’s are fake. You are the most real girl he’s ever looked at! And he spends so much time round here because he never experienced a family like this one. I think he likes to see what it’s like, and it’s an excuse to spend time with you” the phone cuts off and I look at my friend.
“Why would she think that? She's beautiful; I've never met anyone like her! I admire what she does” he stands up and starts pacing in front of me
“Yeah, I go round there to spend time with her, and I don't mind going to her house. Its way better than staying at my own all the time. She doesn’t understand the way she inspires me to help people” he sighs and runs his hand through his hair
“That's one of the many things I like about her”
“What else is there?” I ask intrigued by my friends’ way
“The way she is always smiling, no matter what shit she has going on in her life, the way she is a role model for her whole family, the way her eyes sparkle when she talks about something or they way that she believed in me before anyone else did” he lists while laying down on the bed. I sigh and look over at my best friend with a smile
“You got it bad man”
