If You Could Only See

Prologue

He looked at me with those sudden eyes and I didn't know what to say to him. We stood there in silence for a good 10 minutes or so, letting the silence show our feelings. I knew he loved me, I was just too afraid to say it back to him.

"Why do you keep running away from me?" He asked me.

"It's my only option. I can't love anyone." I said to him sighing and running a hand through my chocolate brown hair.

"You can love someone if you just let your heart speak for you." He reasoned.

"No, I can't let my heart choose for me! I just can't, okay?!" I yelled as I kicked one of his shoes that laid on the floor.

I ran out of the room before he could get another word out, and I decided to run away once again.
