"Headache. You?"
"Just a burn..." I muttered hoping she wouldn't be suspicious of me. I mean,who gets a burn at school? Couldn't I have made up some lie?
I couldn't even tell if she was suspicious because her eyes were hidden behind that mane of hair. I have to admit it's very beautiful, I wonder what it'd be like to run my hands through it. It looks so silky.
Turning her head slightly she looked at me warily. I felt my pain ease strangely. It was as if her simple prescence comforted me. I didn't understand how this girl could have so much effect on me. It must be that I'm healing quickly. I usually do from burns anyway, although this time it was exceptionally fast.
"I'm Blaise by the way," I stated, remembering that we hadn't introduced ourselves yet.
"Serena."
She didn't waste any extra words just said it quick and simple.
The nurse came in and took Serena into the other room and I stared off at her. Then, deciding my burns no longer hurt I walked to class without anything from the nurse.

Urg....such slow updates. I promise the chapters will get longer I just wanted to get something out. Hopefully his will turn into something...it doesn't seem like much now. I haven't even discussed this with my co-writer but whatever. Bleh. :P
