This is my entry for this contest.
Word count = 2,251.
Fred and Avery were crazy in love. They may have never said it aloud, but they knew they were. What happens to the couple after the Battle of Hogwarts?
My heart was racing as I ran down the corridor waiting to see what, or who, for that matter, would meet me at the end. My heart was pumping so loudly that I could hear it over the bloody battle that was going on just around the corner. It grew even louder as I heard the sound of a familiar voice, somewhat muffled by the action going on around it. That voice. It was like magic in itself. Each word came out like a velvety lullaby, each word better than the next. That voice made my steps gain speed and soon enough I made my way to the corner where I glanced around and saw him. Fred Weasley. The ultimate love of my life.
