Poppy was never lasted very long with jobs. She was always getting fired, for either bad attitude, no commitment to work, or for refusing to sleep with the sleazy manager.

Did this apply to Poppy as well? As she was young and, obviously, of female genitalia, could her dreams come true?
Could those dreams come true really lie beyond the empty rundown coffee shop, past the dusty curtains with the faint scent of cologne, down the creaky stairs into the basement that made noise and inside the room where every girl's dream boy wore a waiter's outfit?
