Lacey and Summer have been best friends for as long as they can remember.

Lacey has recently recieved a job making vlogs and various other things for YouTube, and to help her newly found career, she moves to Long Beach, California.

Summer, inspired by her friend's move, decides to do something similar and moves to Santa Barbara, California to get a scene-change, working at the small, quaint bookshop across the street from the record store.

Now living two hours away, and both having careers that keep them fairly busy, the two girls begin writing to one another via email about their new lives, jobs, and those rebellious boys that they can't seem to get enough of.
