Jacob smiled as the last bell rang signaling the end of the day ; he couldn't wait for him & Tiffany's date , he wanted to prove himself to her. He walked out the school to see Tiffany waiting like she usually do for the guys , he noticed her checking her arm out of her jacket sleeve
"Hi Tiffany" he said from behind her
She jumped & quickly pulled her jacket up , "Hey Jake" she said walking up to him , she sighed Josh had bruised her arm when he had gripped her then he he did it again in sixth period in the same spot but harder.
She hugged Jake , he noticed how she tensed up in his grip he just stared at her with an emotionless stare
"Yes Jacob " she said noticing his stare , "Take your arm out the sleeve" he said pointing to her right arm , her big gray eyes got wide and said "why , im okay , why you ask im fine" , he sighed & whispered loudly "just show me your arm if your fine" , she tensed up she knew if any of the guys saw her arm they would go crazy , she noticed how mad Jacob looked ; she put her hands on his chest looked in his eyes and said "trust me im fine".
Jacob sighed he knew Josh had gave her a bruise he wanted to bash his head in for even touching her , he sighed he knew this imprint stuff was kicking in hardcore
Soon they were in the truck , "So Tiffany what do you know about the Quileute tribe" Quil asked as the were on their way home
"hm , i recall my grandma telling me a legend or a tale that claims that we descended from wolves and that the wolves are like the tribes brother . and that's It's against tribal law to kill them." she said trying to think of anything else , "oh , and my grandma told me that some people are born with the genes of turning into a wolf but i don't believe that crap , like a wolf really ? that's like me turning into a unicorn it just cant happen" she added

Tiffany sighed as she rubbed her arm , it was hurting she was just going to put make-up on it so they couldn't see it. She was excited for her & Jacob's date . She wants to give him a chance but she's scared to fall for a boy. She didn't want to be hurt , anyways if her & Jacob went out or anything he'll be her first , she was okay with that. She wanted him to , she felt like she needed to be with Jacob so he could protect her & be hers but fear always over comes her.
