Love Me Tender

Rose walked into the TARDIS just in time to hear the Doctor listening to a song and softly singing along to it. She stopped in the doorway, watching him fix up the TARDIS and singing, his back to her, oblivious to her presence.
“Love me tender, love me true, all my dreams fulfilled. For my darling, I love you, and I always will,” he sang. Rose smiled, watching him get lost in the Elvis song. She closed the door softly and walked into the TARDIS. He heard her footsteps and stopped, turning to face her. “How long have you been there?” he asked.
“Long enough to hear you sing that line,” she said, stepping closer to him. “Because I love you, too, and I always will.” She leaned in and kissed him softly. Pulling away, she went to her room, leaving a stunned Doctor behind her. Smiling, he started humming softly.
“For my darling, I love you, and I always will,” he sang again.
