Can't Sleep Tonight
Chapter 1
McKenzie's POV
I woke up to the sound of my cell phone ringing. I looked at the screen. A text from my best friend Nicole.
'Call me right now! I have to tell you something!'
I dialed her number and it rang once before she picked up.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Nicole. It's McKenzie. Why did you want me to call you?"
"Oh! I need to tell you something amazing! GUESS WHAT!!!" she said.
"What?" I asked.
"My mom got me, you, Miranda, and Stephanie tickets to the Allstar Weekend concert in Hawaii in two days!!!" she screamed. I froze in shock.
"Oh my God, really?!"
"Yeah! We fly to Hawaii tomorrow! You better get packing!"
I couldn't believe it. Me and my best friends were flying to Hawaii to see our favorite band! It was a dream come true. Nicole told me to pack for a week since we'd hang around for a while after the concert. I was so excited! One, because of the concert, and two, because it's Hawaii. I mean, how cool is that! After I thought about it, I realized one thing. Excited was an understatement.
