Marriage in Ikebukuro

Chapter Fifty-One

I sighed as I relaxed on the grass, my arms embracing the back of my head. Jiro sat up and looked down at my laying form.

"Well, the fireworks are over." He told me.

I scoffed at him.

"I know that." I answered him.

"But the view is still nice."

Jiro smiled at me, but then frowned as I looked up. I stared at him oddly, but took a glance to my side to see Shizuo. I grinned widely as I jumped up and embraced him.

"Shizu-chan!" I greeted him.

"I thought you had work?" I asked, parting from him.

"Rather spend time with my girl." He told me.

"You finished early?" I corrected him.

He scoffed as he took a drag from his cigarette. I smiled as I pulled him down on the grass. I cuddled up to his chest. Shizuo glared and growled at Jiro, which made him scoot back and get up.

"I'll see you at home, Nami-chan." He told me.

I smiled as I waved to him goodbye.

After that, I was left alone with Shizuo for while, well until my phone started vibrating in my pants. I giggled as I dug in my pocket in search of it, until I grabbed it. I saw it was Yuki calling me. I sighed as I answered my phone.

"Moshi, moshi?" I asked.
