Marriage in Ikebukuro

Chapter Ninety

I shook my head. "It's not going to be just a white dress. During the actual wedding ceremony, yeah, it'll be a white gown but for the reception, we're going to have you change into a red kimono." I stated, eying the red fabric I held in between my pointer finger and my thumb. I sighed, dropping it before going to another red cloth. Non felt right, suitable actually. I digged around before finding one that was the perfect shade and texture. I draped it around my arm and looked for a black one.

"Yuki, I found a nice white one." Nami pointed at the white cloth in her hand. I turned around. It did look like silk with a somewhat unnoticeable floral pattern at the end. I nodded in agreement before digging around for a black fabric. I finally got one and draped it around my arm too.

"What about the bridesmaid's gowns?" she asked. I slapped my forehead. Of course! Fuck, I knew I forgot something.

"Don't worry, I have a white dress and depending on how many there are, we might as well buy more white fabric." I sighed, realizing how much it would cost.

I grabbed a bundle of pink ribbons used for decorating before meeting Nami at the cash register.

Traditional, the Japanese change kimonos four times in a wedding but since this is a different wedding thing it's only going to be two xD
