The Guide On How To Date A Rockstar

Tip #15: do be unpredictable

I'd managed to get through two shows without talking to anyone unless necessary. Kids buying merch aside, of course. The guys mainly left me to myself, only really talking to me to tell me we were stopping for food, a hotel, or they were going to do something. I didn't really mind, since it was what I'd wanted, but I wasn't too fond of the silence either. I was avoiding Tuck at all costs as well. but who could blame me. Every time I saw him I flashed back to our sex and how when I came I had screamed Brian's name instead of Tuck's. He hadn't seemed too shaken up, considering he knew how I felt about Brian, but I could tell it bothered him. Hell, it bothered me. It had bothered me so much that I had cried myself tired. I had never thought of Brian in a sexual way, and during sex I had been thinking of only him. I still felt like killing myself over it. Zacky understood though. He said ti had never happened to him, but he understood why I felt so terrible about it.

"Addi?"

My head spins in the direction of the familiar voice, a shy smile gracing my lips as I saw his face.

"Hey Brian."

He grins, obviously glad to have me calling him Brian again.

"It's nice to hear that again."
"I would imagine. I'm also not screaming at you."
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're quirky like that."
I smile, unable to help it and the blush that crept onto my cheeks. "Yah, i guess."
"I was wondering, since, you know, we've got some time to kill tonight after the show, if you would like to uh..."

I watch him carefully. His cheeks were pink and his eyes were focused solely on the ground. I knew the signs, but I didn't want to accept them.

"Bri, look, that's really sweet but I..."
"You probably have plans with Tuck already, right? Yah, I figured. just thought I'd ask. Throwin it out there and everything."

I place a hand on his cheek, smiling to myself as he leaned into the touch.

"I don't have plans with Tuck, but I don't want to go out on a date or to dinner either. I'd still like some space."
"I just thought that since..."
"Brian, maybe when tour ends we'll have dinner. Something other than Chinese. but not now. Too much drama, let's not make more."
"You're something, Addi. You're really something."
"A good something or a bad something?"

He smiles, placing a kiss to my palm.

"An unpredictable something."

It was later that night when i was taking a shower that I thought about Brian's words. I still didn't know if I was a good unpredictable or a bad unpredictable. But with the way he smiled at me, I was thinking it was a good unpredictable.

"Dammit, Ad! You take forever" Zacky yells, banging a fist on our hotel bathroom door.

With a growl I shut the water off, wrapping a towel around me. Making sure it was secure I fling the door open, glaring at him.

"I'm showering, Zackary. of course it takes awhile. I've been in a bus with stinky guys and haven't got to shower decently in a few days. So sue me if i want to be clean."

A loud roar of laughter tore my attention to the boys behind him, seated on our beds.

"Damn, Ad. You look hot. Come out here so i can drink it all in" Jimmy calls.

I roll my eyes, flipping him off. "You're cute, but not that cute Rev."
"What about me" Johnny whines, giving me a puppy dog face.
"Sorry kiddo. You don't do it for me."
"But Brian does? I'm better looking than him" Johnny whines.
"Brian doesn't either, Christ."

I wished then that I could take it back. The boyish grin that had been on Brian's face was gone now, replaced with a frown as he looked away from me and to the basketball game on TV.

"But Zacky did it for you?"

I laugh, patting Zacky's stomach as I walked past him to get some clothes from my dresser. Honestly I could care less, I'd go change in the bathroom whenever Zack got out.

"Way back when, boys. Way back when."

Stopping at Johnny I hold my hand out, quirking an eyebrow at him.

"What" he asks.
"Hand over the underwear, Johnny. I know you have one of my only clean pairs left."
"Why would I have them?"
"Because you seem to have a penchant for taking them."
"No i don't."

Sighing I look back at Brian, who was now looking hopeful again. yep, he was back to his old saving the damsel in distress self.

"Bri, can you get my underwear back from johnny while I get clothes?"
"I'd much rather help you get dressed. You don't really need underwear" Brian grins.
"Brian Elwin Haner Jr! I'm shocked at you" I laugh.
"No you're not. but yes, i will retrieve your underwear."

Brian wasted no time in jumping from his spot in a chair onto the bed, pouncing on Johnny and sending them into a wrestling match.

Laughing to myself I opened the suitcase sitting on the bed, pulling a pair of jeans out and one of Brian's old Misfits shirts. I heard a quite whimpering from beside me and I looked over to see Brian standing there with my underwear in his hand, staring at the shirt.

"What's wrong, Bri" i ask, gently prying my underwear from his hands.
"Wear my jeans too. I don't want guys looking at you."
I roll my eyes, kissing his shoulder. "I like when guys look at me. Plus your pants are huge on me."
"Fine, but at least wear my fedora. I like seeing you in my clothes."
I couldn't help but smile as he said this. "I like wearing them." Grabbing a bra from my bag I make my way past Zacky and back into the bathroom, free to blush now that no one could see my face.

it took only a few minutes for me to get dressed, and I quickly kicked the door open as I buttoned my jeans, trying to release some of the humidity from my shower out of the tiny cramped bathroom.

"Damn, Addi. Need some help" Brian asks, poking his head in.
I laugh and shake my head, buttoning my jeans before threading a belt through the loops. "I'm fine, Bri."
"You look good in my shirt."
"You're never getting it back, you know."
"I figured that. You've only had it since high school."
"I'll be right out, mmkay? Tell the guys they can go ahead and head down."

he nods and disappears from sight, presumably to tell everyone I was almost ready. Knowing the guys like I did, I'd have only ten minutes to dry my hair and do make-up before one of them ran in here to pick me up and whisk me away.

By the time I had my hair dried and styled Jimmy was standing behind me, arms crossed.

"Pick up duty" i inquire, gripping the brim of Brian's prized fedora tighter in my hand.
"Pick up duty" he confirms, giving me a head nod.
I sigh, glad i would at least be wearing a hat. "I'm ready. just make sure you grab my make-up bag so i can do it in the car."
Jimmy nods, stuffing my tiny bag into his pocket as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "I'm glad you wore these jeans. It would've been hard to admire your ass in Brian's pants."
"I'm glad I wore mine too" i nods, now smoothing out the hat's brim.
"Do you know where we're going? Matt won't tell me."
"That's because you'll ruin the surprise" I laugh.
"So you know? Who else knows?!"
"Just me and Matt. Don't worry. you guys will love it."

Jimmy groans as he sets me on my feet by the bus, handing me my make-up bag. He quickly climbs in, not even giving a glance to the guy sitting on the top of the bus.

"It's dangerous up there, Bri" I comment, climbing in after Jimmy.

As soon as I was sitting my eyes found their way up to the skylight. I could see Brian's feet, and that was it. He was probably trying to figure out how to drop in without hurting himself.

"Just drop Brian. I do it all the time" i call up to him.
"You're not as big as me" he whines.
"Not in muscle, but I do have boobs."
"If i get stuck, I'm kicking you in the face."

I shrug, even though he couldn't see it, figuring it was a fair trade.

"Well hurry up. You gotta do my make-up since you guys didn't give me time to finish it."
"You take forever, Ad" Matt groans, taking his usual seat on the couch.
"I'm a girl, Matt. You have val as a girlfriend. She takes twice as long."
"Which is why we never go anywhere" he points out.
"That's true."

A thud turned my attention to the boy standing beneath the skylight, rubbing his ankle. Well, more like a man, not a boy.

"You OK, Brian" i ask, getting up to check on him.
He straightens out, obviously testing weight on his ankle. "Yah. I'm fine. Can I do your make up now" he asks while clapping his hands.
"I never remember you being this excited about doing anyone's make up except your own" Zacky cuts in, looking at us oddly.

Brian just shrugs, waiting until I was headed into the bathroom before sending Zacky a smirk and a wink. If I'd known how determined he was to put the moves on me, I would've stayed out of the bathroom.

I look up as Brian closes the door softly behind him, positioning himself between my legs as he picked up my eyeliner stick. I scoot back on the sink, watching him frown. He moves closer, his hips pressed against the sink now.

"I can't help if you're going to keep flinching, Addi."
"Who's flinching? I'm not flinching."
He rolls his eyes and sighs exasperatedly. "You keep flinching away from me. I'm not trying to put the moves on you."

I roll my eyes and scoot closer, wrapping my legs around his waist as a joke. I couldn't help but laugh when his eyes widened and his cheeks got red. Figuring I'd probably taken the joke too far i unwrap my legs and smile innocently. His features noticeably relaxed, and I felt bad. I'd scared him.

"You can put the moves on me if you'd like." I shrug and bite my lip, looking up at him through my lashes.
"Don't be a tease, Addi. You're lucky I'm not like Jimmy and Johnny."
"I was thinking it would help you get the ladies but..."

As the words left my lips I was sure he knew they were a lie. He had to know that I'd die seeing him with someone else.
