She was always nice to him in high school. She even if she hung out with everyone he hated and despised. She was just another white rich country girl in Dalestin. He left Dalestin before graduation. He got himself into trouble, a moment of realization hits him the day he got out of prison. Life was too short. He wanted to make amends with anyone he ever hurt, starting with his parents.
