The boy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was first and foremost, a performer. He grew up on the big screen and threw himself headfirst into anything he did. He spoke French and played guitar and wholeheartedly believed in love.
The girl, Bryn Perham, was a singer. She grew up with The Smiths and Def Leppard as her only friends and made it hard for anyone not to like her. She spoke French and played guitar and in her twenty-two years of life, had never been in love.
They meet on May 17th in New York City, a sunny day in front of a movie theatre.
Joe hates her almost immediately.
