Lauren walked over and offered me a fake smile, "Dr. Tak would like to see you, Frank."

I nodded.

"Why did you run away?"

"Gerard."

She smiled and nodded, "Okay."

We stopped in front of Dr. Tak's office, Lauren knocked.

"Come in."

Lauren opened the door, waved and walked away."

"Hello Frank."

"Hi."

"What"s wrong?"

"Gerard."

"Oh. I haven't met with Gerard yet. What's he like?"

"Yes you have."

"Oh, yeah. Well maybe I forgot. Tell me about him."

"He's an alcoholic. He wants to get better... For me."

"Yeah? Are you two in a relationship?"

"Um, yeah."

"Okay. So why did you run away?"

"Gerard."

"Where is Gerard?"

"I don't know. He left when the police came.. He was drunk. We were hiding but then I told him we need to come back."

She nodded and wrote something down.

"Honey.. Gerard isn't a patient here."

"What?"

"He isn't real."
